Joseph Reilly of Marlboroughvisited Dr. Novikov Wellness and Skin Care for the first time in February 2021, when he was referred to the office by his primary care physician. He only has positive feedback to share.
Joseph had a COVID related rash on his legs and initially saw Physician Assistant Jillian Megaro.
“Jillian was awesome,” he said. “She was personable, enthusiastic, and well informed. She asked a lot of questions and answered a lot of questions.”
Joseph said that Jillian was also observant. She noticed a suspicious spot on his chest that he couldn’t see on his own, but ultimately required a small surgical procedure to remove it. It turned out to be pre-cancerous and Joseph is appreciative of Jillian’s observation skills and her approach to preventative medicine. Dr. Novikov was able to perform the procedure right in the office.
He said the follow up care has been great, and noted the office runs on schedule and he has never experienced an excessive wait time to be seen by the provider.
Joseph admits that growing up on Cape Cod he was what might be called a sun worshipper and there is a family history of melanoma. He now knows how to protect his skin better in the summer and what key ingredients to look for in sunscreen. He is grateful for the responsiveness of the provider team.
“I wasn’t sure what to expect,” Joseph said. “Everyone is professional and the office is clean and welcoming. I felt very relaxed going into a situation where it could be a little intense.”
