Patient Karen Callahan was a first time patient at Dr. Novikov Wellness and Skin Care. She came to the practice with a venous stasis ulcer on her leg and admits that she was not really sure what to expect.
“I kind of felt it was my fault as to why my leg was like that,” she said. “Sometimes you dread going to doctors, but it was a great experience. Everyone was super friendly. This is the one doctor I sort of looked forward to going to.”
Karen had a similar wound previously but went to another practice for care.
“It took a lot longer there and took them a lot of different treatments before they got the right one,” she said. “Here, I could see an improvement almost right away from week to week.”
Communication between patient and provider was clear.
“I knew what to do to stay on track for the next visit,” Karen said.
A friend and former patient himself recommended the practice and Karen was ultimately referred by her primary care physician. She said she would not hesitate to recommend the practice to others.
She noted that appointments were easy to make and the office ran on time.
“I needed appointments early enough to allow me to get to work on time in the afternoon,” she said. “Appointments were quick. I usually would get there early and they would take me right away. I would be in and out of there even before my scheduled appointment time.”
