Practice continues strong nursing home partnerships

Our practice continues to provide bedside wound care and dermatology services through our growing partnerships with area nursing home facilities.

Our team of providers offer weekly wound care rounds with the facility staff. There are many benefits of these services to both the facility staff and residents.

Tiffany Hobbs, LP, DCP is the Assistant Director of Nursing Services at Beaumont at Westborough. She said “Patients receive services without it impacting their day. Services at bedside eliminate patients going in and out of the building for wound care clinic appointments. It’s a lot of time added to the resident’s day.”

The consistency of the weekly visits is helpful for positive outcomes. The educational piece received during wound care rounds is an added bonus.

“It’s key to helping with wound management and knowing the best treatment plan,” Tiffany said.
