Patient Allan Collins received wound care while at a nursing home and continued care with Dr. Novikov at the practice after being discharged.
Allan said that the wound care treatment he received in the hospital was being followed, but Dr. Novikov felt the wound was not healing as it should. Dr. Novikov tried a different treatment part way through, and the wound healed better and faster than it would have otherwise.
It took only 4 visits with the new treatment to be discharged from care.
Allan’s overall experience with Dr. Novikov’s practice was positive.
“I probably saw every one of them (providers) at one time or another,” he said. “I would recommend the office; I was happy all around and would go back if needed.”
Allan was also impressed with how efficient the office ran for his appointments. He would often arrive, be seen and treated before the actual appointment time.
“On numerous visits, I was in and out of there before the actual appointment time,” he said.
