Our office is diving into Telemedicine during this time of social distancing. Though wound care and skincare are traditionally practiced in person, Telemedicine is acting as a great alternative during these uncertain times. Telehealth allows physicians to check in on their patients, monitor their healing progress, and order new supplies through virtual means, thus allowing for face to face and worry-free interactions. Telemedicine offers our providers the ability to ensure the overall health of our patients and make the necessary adjustments to their individualized care. We are offering Telemedicine as an option to nursing facilities who are facing cases of COVID-19 and some of our office patients.
