Dr. Novikov Wellness and Skin Care located in Northborough, MA has a full-time opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our expanding provider team! We are a collaborative, independent practice specializing in wound care, skin care and minor skin related surgery. We provide the highest standard of wound care and skin care through a holistic, comprehensive approach.
The position is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a hands-on bedside procedure based practice.
You will be responsible for chronic wound management and surgical dermatology through various modalities and other procedures within the scope of your training/practice.
You will be providing bedside wound care consultation and treatment services to patients in long term care, rehab facilities and skilled nursing facilities, as well as to patients in our state-of-the-art office.
Extensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
New grads intending to remain in hands-on procedure based specialty practice are welcome to apply.
Requirements:
- Two year commitment to encourage employee loyalty.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in PA studies
- Massachusetts Physician Assistant License and DEA registration required prior to start date.
- Previous experience as PA in other medical/surgical fields preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment preferred, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven excellent work ethic
- Ability to build rapport with patients, nursing staff, other members of the medical team and administration.
- Reliable personal transportation for local travel to the facilities we serve.
- Valid driver’s license.
