Patient Ginnie is in her 90s and her skin has become thinner and can tear easily, which is common in the aging population.
Ginnie’s daughter Christine said that her mother has a tendency to fall, sometimes resulting in wounds requiring active management. Ginnie has been seen by Dr. Novikov on two different occasions and had a very good experience both times.
“They are very professional the minute you walk in the door,” said Christine. “They make you feel welcome. The staff is very warm, caring and competent.”
Christine also praised the communication between provider and patient and how important it is to be treated with kindness and not just like a number..
“Dr. Novikov takes the time to explain things,” she said. “He tolerates all my questions. So much of the healthcare industry is broken and fractured. Here they care and they are competent and you don’t get the sense that they are trying to rush you out the door.”
