“He’s my hero. It’s like a miracle.”

Patient Karen Gordon was struggling with cellulitis to the point where she was in extreme pain and could not put weight on her leg to walk. She said it was so bad she was afraid that she was going to lose her ankle.

She felt ignored by her primary care doctor and an infectious disease doctor, and her frustration and discomfort grew. It was Karen’s sister, a long time nurse in New Jersey, who suggested she see a wound specialist and searched online to find Dr. Novikov.

“I just wanted someone to help me,” said Karen.

She was able to secure an appointment on the same day she called the office

After three weeks of treatment by Dr. Novikov and his staff, Karen is amazed at the “wonderful healing process.”

“I was in extreme pain when I first saw him,” she said. “He reassured me, showed me what he was doing, asked me questions, and answered my questions.”

On her first visit, she was using an orthopedic cane to walk. On her second visit the following week, she had the cane with her, but was not using it.

“He’s my hero; no doubt about it,” said Karen. “It’s like a miracle. The whole staff was absolutely wonderful and caring. I call him Dr. Hero.”

Karen said the entire staff was caring, thoughtful and compassionate throughout the process.

“He’s the expert and I trusted everything that came out of his mouth,” she said.
